About Skilled Immigration to Australia

Hi all ,

I am not British citizen , but currently residing in UK for my master. ( So my IELTS score is 7 )
I am 25 and have 2 years of work experience in software engineering . ( in last 2.5 years )

As I took Australia Skilled Immigration Points Calculator , my current point is 120. But I am not clear about that visa. My questions are as below :

- I assume I can reside and work in Australia legally with that visa ?

- After I get visa approval , when should I enter Australia ?

- What about duration of visa ? And what about extending ?

- How can I be a citizen with this visa ? How many years would I require ?

there is initial entry date (stated on your visa) is the date by which you must travel to Australia on your visa. This date is calculated based on the validity of your health and character clearances.

- What about duration of visa ? And what about extending ?

PR visa is valid for 5 years

- How can I be a citizen with this visa ? How many years would I require ?

following are requirements
* You have lived lawfully in Australia for at least 4 years; and
* You have lived in Australia for at least 12 months as a permanent resident

how can u get 120 points without 4 years of IT experience ?


2 years work experience requirement is for people having australian degrees
