applying for COA just a week prior to my visa expiry

Post by Mr A » Sat Feb 19, 2011 10:24 pm

hi ! This is abi.i entered uk last year in feb as an international student under Tier-4 General student category.Due to my college was postponed and put at category B. I tried applying at other available education providing institutions but i had no luck in that.the disappointing figure was the length of my visa covering only 12 months.i and my non EEA national gf applied for COA in the previous month i-e 26th of Jan 2011 ,just a week prior to my visa expiry date.We have being living togeather along with my gf's parents.my gf has being working as a self employed person since july of the last year.my questions are:
1-how much chances do we have in getting issued with any kind of a refusal ,that could be possibly because i didnt apply for the COA on time or could be coz i didnt attend my study course while staying in UK as a student.
2-can i apply for my gf's EEA-1 document based on her self employment document ,along with an application for my EEA-2 document?
3-as i have sent my passport and my my gf's id card over to HO for COA ,would it be ok if we send over an app including our these id's for EEA1 and EEA2 soon after the COA arrives.meanining the time limit mentioned in the COA would get expired while our ids would be away regarding EEA1 and EEA2. So the COA would expire before in the mean duration. If there is any other alternative such as to get on with both of them what could that be?
I should be thankful to be helped.cheers
