Tier-2 Intra Company transfer

Post by Kumarakrishnan » Sun Feb 27, 2011 12:57 am

Hi All,

Since last 1.5 years I am working in UK under tier-2 intra company transfer visa. But almost all these time I am under fear my company may transfer me back. I want to get the Tier-2 general highly skilled visa OR HSMP.
1.
In order to get this Tier-2 general visa, should I need to go back to my country India and apply over there? OR Is there any possibility to get that Tier-2 Visa by applying from UK itself?

2.
Is there any work permit visa category which I dont need certificate of sponsorship. Because I want to get the work permit first and then want to apply for the job in UK.

Can somebody please advice me on this?

Thanks
Kumar

1. If you can find an employer who can issue you a CoS, then you may apply for leave to remain as a Tier 2 (General) migrant before your current leave expires.
2. Tier 1 (General). But do note that the scheme closes for new applicants on 06-Apr-11.
