requirements for UK visitor for civil partnership ?

Post by junebal » Tue Mar 01, 2011 5:01 pm

My girlfriend and I have been in a relationship since 28th of december 2009 even though we've known each other since we were 7 yrs old. We were in a long distance relationship from 28th of december until I visited her in the Philippines after finishing my degree on the 13t of July 2010. I stayed in the Philippines for 2 and half months and then went back to the UK for 5 weeks. I have been here in the Philippines since October 2010 and I am going back to the UK on the 17th of March 2011 on a post-study work visa. I wanted to apply for a depandant visa for my girlfriend but we do not proof saying that we were living together for 2 yrs.

However, we had a holy union here in the Philippine (Because there is no legal civil-partnership here) last august 14, 2010. The priest who did the ceremony is famous American LGBT RIchard Mickley. It was a genuine ceremony where friends and family were invited. My questions are?

1.) Can My partner apply visitor for civil partnership visa?
2.) What are the supporting documents required? Finances etc..
3.) WHat sort of evidences can we provide that are relationship is genuine?
4.) Can we include evidences such as
a.) pictures of us together and our wedding photos
b.) proof that I have spent 7 and half months here iin the Philippines with her (longest stay i have ever had since i entered UK as a student)
c.) the certificate of holy union gave by the Priest who performed the ceremony and a letter from him? (Do I need to get this notarized?)
d.) My phone bill showing that I have been in contact with her?
e.) My facebook messages? Raspberry messages, skype messages, yahoo messages etc.?
f.) the cards and letters, gifts I have been giving her since december 2009?
g.) and Ive had a tattoo done on my wrist which is the date of our holy union and both of our names written on my back..

Please guide me as I am feeling very sad abt leaving her as I have to go back to the UK soon and I cannot stand the distance anymore :'(
