Administrative review for Tier 4

Hi

My UK visa application has been refused twice now. First time it was refused because the immigration officer in Rio misread the CAS number or typed it in the wrong way. We called the school and confirmed that the CAS was indeed still active. This was very annoying, but in order to make the study start we chose to reaplly rather than do admin review.

2nd time refused! Reason was that the bank statement of ITAU was misread. The account is a savings account and the balance is subdivided into anniversarios or 'interest days' so you have to add the numbers up to get the total balance. Of course the immigration officer did not understand this and refused the visa onece again.

I've paid the application fee twice now hoping for a quick process. Well it was quick! To refuse that is...

So now we want to try an admin review as we think that they have all the information that they requiered on the ukba website. But the question then is how long will this take? It should be a simple thing to explain them, but maybe they are just trying to be difficult?

I really feel like they have treated me unfair and I feel powerless. My study will start soon and I definitely can't make the start date now. There is a later start date, but if they take a month doing the admin review then that will be too late as well

Please help!

Hi people just writting to inform that Ireceived an answer of my adm review in 7 days. However, they didn't overturn their decision, it seemed they didn't read my explanation. So I applied the 3rd time with a non official statement, but a internal model from the bank printed in a headed company paper plus a letter confirming funds, at this time I finally got the entry clearance, but they made a mistake in the inicial date, being one day after my course starts. I just reported the consulate about it and I'm waiting for their contact. Does anyone know how is the procedure now? Do I need to send my passport again? Thanks in advance.

One day is not a big deal just be there as early as possible or on same day.

You already have experience how foolishly UKBA is working now a days and still trying to contact them?? If you send your passport you will miss the whole session and may loose your college fee. You will need new CAS for next session or get your visa cancelled.

Just get a letter from your college for possible delay and make travel plan ASAP.
