Aplly Schengen visa from Frech Consulate

Post by hongleuk » Tue Mar 01, 2011 5:12 pm

Hi all you guys.

I am planning to apply Schengen visa for tourism from French Consulate ( because i heard that French Consulate can issue 3 months visa with multiply)

Now i just finish my Master and in Post-study-work visa. I am looking for a job but not find yet, so now i am unemployed.

So my question is : Because i am unemployed now in Post-study-work visa, can i have chance to get visa from French Consulate ? ( i have enough money for supporting my trip in my bank account)

and If i book hotel in France for 15 days, and other country for 10 days, can i have chance to get 3 months visa with multiply ? ( any experience to get 3 months visa from French Consulate ??)

Thank for all and thank for that wonderful forum.

Any Schengen embassy can issue multiple entry visa but you would have to choose the one where you intend to stay longest or if that can't be determined based on the first entry. Whether you will get a multiple entry visa or not is a decision the embassy will make and nobody here will be able to answer this. Sufficient maintainance (also travel insurance) is certainly a requirement but also the intent to return. Unemployment is not necessarily a good starting point.

Just another question in this topic, if i have pay slip for about £400/month, do you guys think French Consulate is ok for issuing me Tourism visa ?

Highly appreciate for your answers.
