hi,

i am an engineer and looking for some advice on my employment history. I first got job in early 2006, this company also sponsored my WP. When i left this company in late 2007 new employer had problem in obtaining in-country work permit and i had to rely on out of country WP, which also meant that I lost all time i covered on my previous WP for ILR. When I started with this new company in mid 2008 recession had already started its destruction I survived first round of redundancy (immediately after joining this company after a long time) but in order to survive the second round of redundancies i had to change the department as well as relocate in part of the country miles away from london or central england. After sometimes i got transferred in to another company where i am working to date, i am working on almost the right kind of things but this whole up and down resulted me earning very low salary - i should be earning in 33-35k but actually i am on around 24k.

Every time i apply for a job i get either rejected because i m located remote from any place and/ or because i have been jumping departments/ companies or locations all the times. I also lost my ILR (I could have applied this january) and it will be now 2.5 years i will be re-eligible for it !! these all facts are hugely obstructing my progress!!


i don't know what to do????

please advise!!
