Please Help

Post by khan » Sat Jun 26, 2004 1:01 pm

Hi,

I have sent my HSMP Application on 11th June and sent a demand draft with my application.
Yesterday I sent an email to HSMP office to get my application reference number. Today I received an emai from home office that they didn't receive my application as yet.

Please assist as I checked via DHL web site and according to them my application has been reached there on 15th June.

Thnx
Khan

I suspect your application has been posted back to you asyou didnt follow the accepted payment method i.e

1) Cheque drawn on a UK bank a/c
2) Credit/debit card (Visa or Master Card or Switch (card used in UK))
3) Postal order

Demand and/or Bank drafts are not accepted

Good Luck

1) Cheque drawn on a UK bank a/c
A bank draft from Pakistan is treated as a cheque drawn on a UK bank. I have used it. Its called a FDD in Pakistan but in fact it is a cheque in favour of someone (in this case the HSMP team). It takes up to five working days to clear.

Cheques should be made payable to "Home Office, Work Permits(UK)

Please refer to HSMP guidance notes - I suspect you have a 'problem' with payment....

All the best
