Stamp 5 renewal

Post by churchholigan » Fri Mar 04, 2011 7:48 pm

Hi, does anyone know the procedures for Stamp 5 renewal? If I laready have a Stamp 5 on my passport and wants to renew in person. Do I just phone the INIS number to make an appointment? Also, do I have to produce all my passport(S) again or just the passport with my Stamp 5?

the best would be to call general immigration helpline (option 3 and 5) on thursday 10am to 12.30pm for more information. they could make an appointment for you as well on the helpline. they used to have a limited amount of appointments for stamp 5 renewals. not sure how it is now. I think you have to present your new passport and the passport that has stamp 5 already.

Hi, churchholigan. The renewal could only be done by post now, I'm afraid.
You now have to send your new passport along with the old one (which has a stamp in it) to WCATT section, and wait.
The only question now is if it's going to take three calendar months as for the first-time appliers..
