RE: visitors visa for my mother

Post by paige22 » Sat Mar 12, 2011 6:34 pm

I applied for my mum to visit me. Her appeal was declined on the grounds that she will not return due to the fact my two brothers who are here claimed asylum when they came 10yrs ago. One of the is now British. I'm now a british citizen, which I acquired after Indefinite leave to remain. I did not claim asylum. I was not represented during this process, I felt it was highly unfair to be refused on those grounds as my brother's status has nothing to do with me. My mothers still has strong ties back in Zimbabwe. Any ideas of what I can do to convince the Home office she will return.

Provide compelling evidence of her strong ties in Zimbabwe.
