I am a UK Citizen and I was living in another EU country with my non-EU wife.

We entered UK on a EEA Family permit and have now applied for the residence card.

We are both working but only on temporary jobs so don't know if they will accept this and give us the residence card.

After our temporary jobs end in 6 months will I be able to claim benefits? probably just JSA
Or will this effect my wife's entitlement to stay in UK?

We want to work but in this economic climate it is more difficult than before and hope to claim benefits until we can find more jobs.
