Refrees and GPs

Hi
I am fillinf AN form and need two referees whi have known me for last three years
Can someone please advice who from the list below can be best referee to put on the form

1-My GP (not related or friend of me)
2-MY friend who is a GP in another city
3-My frind who is consultant Optholomologist in NHS
4-My Friend who is consultant Neurologist in NHS
5-Either of my four friends who are consultant cardiologist in NHS

6-My friend who is retired as salesman 77 years old OAP.
7-My friend who is 63 years old lady on benefits
8-My friend who is a receptionist in a company.



I am confused as someone said that you cannot put doctors as referee but most of people around me who have known me for last three years are Doctors.

Any from 1-5 will be fine, doctors are professionals and fulfil all the requirements of a referee. Ask them to fill in as ' family friend '. They do not figure in the list as they are under no obligation to be a referee.
