Exchange Rate for different earning sources

Post by capricornianz » Mon Mar 21, 2011 9:43 am

Hi

I urgently need help on the following:

If one is claiming points for previous earnings and is showing one complete 12 months period, but multiple sources of earnings within that period, then what is the exchange rate to apply? The last date of the entire claimed period?

Do note that the multiple sources were not for the entire period: (1st March - 28th Feb)

1- Employment : complete 12 months - 1st March - 28 Feb
2- Self-Employed : 2 months within 12 months - Jun/Jul
3- Self-Employed : 3 months within the entire 12 months. Aug/Sept/Oct

So when filling the form, the column to enter the exchange rate will be the last day's rate for the entire 12 months period, i.e. 28th Feb 2011?

I need to submit my app shortly, so urgent replies are much appreciated

I got the answer to my own question by calling UKBA.

The entire period is considered one block. So all intermediate work / earnings in between will still be converted to GBP using the last day of the entire period
