UK Residency card - Non EU dependant -hassle free UK entry !

My step-son ( who is a non_EEA/EU national) arrived back in the UK after 6 weeks abroad..

He entered the UK with his UK Residency Visa and was told to join the EU / EEA line and his landing card was torn up and his passport wan't stamped..


Seems that the UK BA are really getting to know the ropes now..

When I think of the 'fights' we have had with Cyprus , UK (and still with Eire ) officials who didn't realise that this status meant my family members had to be treated like EU citizens..

Good to read a positive experience at the border.

I have yet to benefit from such a seamless service...
