student to spouse visa..HELP

hi all....its been 3 days got settlement visa through CRD (legacy case)....iv now decided 2 marry a student who is here since 5yrs nd his visa will end february 2012....im gonna apply for spouse visa for him...i want to know what r the processes will be?...could u guys help me know this step by step what i will have to do..also any information on the changing rules in applying for spouse visa by home office....thanks :)

at what stage of this spouse visa application ..he will take the a1 english language test?..is it after sending the COA application?

Before applying for leave to remain (FLR(M)). He doesn't need to meet the English language requirement to marry in the UK (for which CoA is a requirement).

ok..so firstly..iv to send the coa application..get married then applying for the visa..thanks

for that i will have to work to show the pay slips right?...for how long do i hvae to show the pay slips?...nd my partner is here about 5yrs on student visa. he is working under 20 hours..is this good?..does he also have to show pay slips?

1. The FLR(M) form and guidance explains what documentary evidence(s) are required.
2. The web-page regarding English language requirements has a (PDF) document which lists the approved test providers and their contact details.

hello guys...iim back again...one question is on my mind. thought why not ask for some help here.....

as i mentions earlier its been now 5days i got my ILR settlment....am i allowed to send the COA form in a couple of days?...or will there be any questioning about that?

One can apply for CoA as and when one wishes to.

do me and my spouse have to write a letter saying how we met..where we met...etc ..as an evidence with the coa form?
