Query Regarding Post Visa process- Tier1

Hi,

I found myself eligible for the points system and confident about getting a visa. The problem is that I cannot leave my current employer till Jan 2012.

My query is, after getting the Tier 1 visa what is the maximum period allowed to enter UK after the visa is Issued.

Also, on the same lines let's say I enter UK after 3 months, will my visa still be valid for 2 years.

Please answer.

Tier 1 (General) now closed for overseas applicants

Tier 1 (General) overseas will not reopen for applications.

Thanks for the quick reply, but I heard it is re opening next month and so i want to plan accordingly. Please suggest

All I can say is that you have heard wrong, whatever may be your source.

Tier 1 (General) immigration category closed for overseas applicants on 23-Dec-10 and will permanently close for in-country applicants from 06-Apr-11.
So, no Tier 1 (General) from 06-Apr-11 .. for any new applicant.
