When does my 5 year settlement date start?

When does my 5 year settlement date start?

Hi - I started my employment with UK company in June 2006, working from my home country. Once my work permit is approved in August 2006, I move to UK in August 2006. For month of June and July, while I was working from my home country, I was paid in UK with UK tax deductions - these pay also appear in my year end P60 form. Can I start ILR application in June 2011, or do I have to wait till August 2011? Thank you.

Qualifying period started when you entered the UK, in August.
