Stamp on Electronic Bank statements

Post by zbhope » Tue Mar 29, 2011 11:58 am

Hello, I have got stamp on my electronic statements from Lloyds today. However, the branch did not have 2011 stamp available and they stamped with the 2010 one. So, it is 29-03-2010. Then the lady change 0 to 1 in 2010 and signed beneath it.

I want opinion from you guys, would it be acceptable?

Thanks

Do not take any chance,
Ask them to attest with proper stamp, else go to another branch.
If it is for maintenance, ask them to attach a letter with it confirming your balance have maintained of £800 and above for consecutive 90 days
If Not We, Then Who?

Thanks for you reply.

This is for earnings and maintenance both. They said they wont give me a letter to confirm my funds. So, I'll have to show it by transactions on the statements only. Hope it will be fine.

There are cases where electronic statements with bank statements are rejected due to reasosn succh as thet your name and accouint have to appear on every page etc.

Natest defenitely gives a letter and I know othjers whom have obtained it from HSBC.

All you are saying is that at atleast £xyz has been held b/w xxxx date and xxxx date.

That is the safest thing to get (for both income and funds).

Maybe for maintenance funds, but if you read the guidance, it does NOT say that a Bank Letter is acceptable for showing previous earnings.
I'm sure it would help corroborate, but personally I wouldn't rely on it as the sole form of evidence from a bank for my earnings...
