Post by fasdone » Sat Apr 02, 2011 12:53 am

Hello

My accountant is ICPA Certified Practising Accountant ,
and he has done all my accounts ,
I was looking in the guidance they didn't mention anything
like ICPA.

Any ideas about this will it be accepted by HO.

Thanks

The ICPA is run for ALL Accountants in Practice whatever their Institute membership or indeed if they are qualified by experience.
ICPA is not a governing body .... just an association. And like the statement suggests anyone with accounting experience can become a member - without any need for Institute membership.

Whether a member of ICPA can issue documents to support your Tier 1 (General) application depends on whether he is a member of a registered body.

And there is nothing to mean - ICPA "certified" practising accountant.
