Do I have to take the family with me for OCI application?

Post by shajacksha » Wed Apr 06, 2011 11:24 am

Hello

I am going to apply for OCI in London for my wife and kids. I am British. Do I have to take them along with me or can I go and apply for them?.

Also would like to know how early should I be there to join the queue?. If I go by say 8AM, would this be early enough?. Thanks for any suggestions.

I am also in the same situation and in process of applying for OCI for me and my wife.

In the previous posted by one of member i read that if the family application is made then there is no need to take wife and children.

I would still like to get confirmation on these from senior members if i am right.

I think in your case you can apply for them since you are also included in the application. My case is different. I am not applying for myself but just for my family. Anyway, I will let someone who have done this before to answer.
