Passport Expiry

Hello,

I am on HSMP visa. My visa is valid till March 2012 but my passport is going to expire in July 2011. When should I contact Pakistani embassy in London or Birmingham for issuance of a new passport? Would I need to get visa endorsed on my new passport?

My wife has gone to Pakistan for few months due to some family commitments. Her passport is also going to expire in June. Can she get it re-issued from NADRA in Pakistan?

Please advise.

Thanks Vinny for sending the links. I am going soon to Pakistan embassy in London to submit my application for new passport.
My wife is coming back in June and her passport is also going to expire in July. Would she face any problem at the Heathrow airport because of her passport which would be valid only for one month or so by then. Should she come back to UK and then apply for a new passport or you think that she should get her passport renewed from Pakistan before she comes back to UK?
