How to apply ILR

Hi there,
I came to UK on student visa in 2005 to study in a college but did not finish study and got job and started working full time in a company since april 2006 and later company applied work permit for me on june 2006.

Now in June, 2011 i have to apply ILR, what letter of empolyment i should ask my empolyer to write. Like do nt mention my starting date?

Will this effect my ILR?

Please advice me what to do?

1. If you started working full time (during term time) and u had a student visa so you were in breach of your immigration conditions.
2. Your work permit wud have the dates as wen the company applied a permit for you, they wud have put the dates on the work permit.
3. The ILR will be based on the Work Permit category.
4 U letter of employment shud say the start date from the work permit date and not wen u started working for them while u had a student visa as that will result in refusal and a ban.

1. I have already answered your question.
2. The ILR on the basis of the work permit wud automatically assume that the dates wud be the same as mentioned in u work permit wen it was issued.

Once again thanks for the reply.
In that case i wont ask my employer to write any thing regarding my joining just ask them to mention that i have been working full time on work permit since june 2006 and still need in the job.

Is that enough for this?

Also on the set(O) form, section 10-B there is mention of document to proof that i have been working continuous of work permit for 5 years.
What to do on this?

Can you please guide me?

1. The letter from the employer confirming the employment period according to the work permit.
2. Your payslips, P60s and bank statements showing the payments in your account form the employer.

Yesterday when I was filling the ILR form, I came across stamping on
my passport. Company got work permit for me in July 2006 and I got visa stamping in August 2006, so which date I should write in the form.
What is the work permit date?
