OCI for British citizen child

Dear all

We are currently holding ILR and planning to have baby soon. Can somebody please guide if we take UK citizenship from birth for him (which he will be eligible) than will he be eligible for OCI and how long it will take to get UK passport and OCI...
Your guidance will be much appreciated.

Your baby will be born British as u have ILR.. This is immaterial of whether u take british citizenship before his birth. He/She will be born British.
U can only apply for PIO not OCI . PIO is for minors and OCI is for adults.
I took PIO for my daughter which took 6-8 weeks to arrive but i had a tough time dealing with HCI London in this regards.
UK passport takes 7-10 working days to come.. :)
