Documents to prove previous work experience

Hi all,

I will be starting to apply for jobs as an Oracle DBA in UK from next week.Do the companies in UK ask for salary slip from previous employers?

My current employer in India is an UK based company, so i want to show that i have been working from UK, as i will be providing my UK managers contact details as my reference. will this create any problem?
