visa needed to move to Holland from the UK?

Hi ,im thinknig of getting work in Holland , im from the UK and allready know about work permits that my employer will have to apply for but if i wanted to move to Holland without a job allready what would i have to do and how long would i have before i had to find work or leave?
Anyone that can help i would appreciate it alot

Are you a British citizen (you say you're from the UK)?

If so, you don't need a permit or visa, unless you're one of a small number of British citizens from the Channel Islands or Isle of Man.

Yes im a british citizen , born here and lived here ever since. Thanks for the reply

p.s so i wouldnt need a residency permit or does this depend on the time i wil lbe there for?
