Biometric appointment in Belfast office - Travel documents ?

Post by Saikripa » Tue Apr 19, 2011 4:03 pm

Hi,

I need advice please respond to me asap.
I got biometric appointment at belfast public enquiry office on 17th May. I book air tickets for getting this done. Now issue is that my ID proof are with Home Office and for flying I need Photo ID proof. I am flying with BMI Baby, they saying that any UK Photo ID or Your passport is needed to fly and security check.

Being its domestic flight its too hard. I am having my PAN Card and Electrol Card issued by Govt of India, but BMI Baby is saying no to other Photo ID other than UK One. They only gave me option to go for UK Bus pass as it has photograph but its cost me total 156 GBP. Please can you suggest any other form of Valid ID I can take. Also, when UKBA is aware of such issue, do they need to send me any temporary travel document to fly to Belfast. Please let me know at the earliest. Thanks

You don't need "travel documents" to travel within the UK.

Photo ID is / may be a requirement specific to transport operators. Different operators have different requirements ... so you must choose / should have chosen an appropriate means of commuting to the destination, given your circumstances.
Life isn't fair, but you can be!
