Tier 4 dependant CAS urgent plz help

My husband is a tier 4 student and his course started in October 2009 and at that time there was not any CAS number. Now i am applying as his dependant and in the vaf10 form they are asking for CAS number. So how can i provide that when my husband got admission and visa without CAS? I just have enrolment letter from the institute as the proof of his admission.

Please help its very urgent.

That should be okay, just explain it to them, in the additional details section or do a covering letter. Do include this letter from your husband's uni/college of his current status/enrolment on the course.

is it necessary to submit letter from college showing current status. However the old college letter clearly states that full fees is paid and end dates of course is also mentioned on it. The letter was issued when he applied for visa which is about 9 months back.

Yes a current letter should be included in your application, or else the ECO might suspect that the main applicant although on T4 but is not attending college. Some form of evidence should be tbere, if he is studying then obviously the college will issue him a letter that he is a student
