1. A letter from the hospital confirm your wife's pregnancy

2. Invitation letter from yourself/your wife inviting your mom to the UK

3. Your bankstatements/your wifes, tenancy contract(just to show them that you have a place for your mom to stay)

4. Payslips, employement status

6. Your passport copy with permission to stay in the UK/ your wife's passport copy

5. Do include some evidence of your relationship like your birthcertificate which shows your mom, or your passport which shows your fathers name and in her passport her husbands name(which is would be same ofc)

7.Good Luck, dats all I believe....

There is no such amount mentioned in the rules for a visitor, although you should have sufficient amount of moneys for the duration of your visitors stay, as visitors should be accomodated and maintained without help of public funds.

Generally 400-600 per month is what they is living costs in the UK. But since accomodation would be provided by you this living costs can be lower, but it all depends on the caseworker who handles the case.
