Was hoping someone could help me.I've been in a relationship with my boyfriend for just over 2 years. I'm British born and bred whereas he's from Jordan and is studying at uni here on a student visa. He's due to graduate this summer and his visa runs out in August some time. I know the government has stopped the post-study visa they had so we're both scared about what will happen because obviously we want to stay together. Therefore I wanted to know if we get a civil partnership and applied for a spouse visa what our realistic chances would be? As far as I can see it may be the only option. We're committed to a future together and I'm terrified of losing him
We don't live together yet but plan to in the future. I've got another year of uni and work part-time but we both have quite a lot of savings so money shouldn't be an issue.
