Is fertility treatment (IVF) counted as benefits?

Post by eureka_ilr » Wed Apr 27, 2011 6:23 am

Hi,

We have been advised to go for IVF by NHS fertility center, referred to by our GP.

I am on Tier 1 general visa. I will be applying for ilr after 15 months. I wanted to know does ivf come under recourse to public fund and are we eligible for free ivf treatment.

You are perfectly entitled to use the NHS. That includes all services provided by the NHS. Need I say more?

I hope the treatment goes well. Good luck.
