EEA route nationality Application

Post by wasimakram » Sat Apr 23, 2011 7:20 pm

Hi
I am thinking to apply for British nationality but as reading thru some topics on this forum made me think to wait little longer. Here is my story if somebody can shed light on it..
I applied for Pr using eea4 in May 2010 which was issued in dec and to apply nationality I have to be here for 6 years which I will be in at the start of next month.I read when forum members went to apply through Ncs they were asked to submit 6 p60s and that is my concern now.My Mrs EEA national has been unemployed since November 2010 and we have got only 5 p60s for her but I have been working regularly and will complete my 6 working years in next month.
Now question remains..Will I be able to apply for Nationality with 5 p60s for both of us via Ncs as I don't want to send my original documents or will this be a issue that EEA national is unemployed. Or should I wait till Dec.
I will be very thankful for any advice .

You can apply via the NCS even though your EEA family member is not currently working, once the 6 years is completed.

I applied through NCS. My six P60s covered almost the whole 6 years without some 4 months, so for cover that missing period I used my wage slips and it was fine.
