Tier 1 Extension Duration Query. Please help!

Post by azee1982 » Mon May 02, 2011 10:53 am

Hi

I was granted Tier 1 leave from 28th May 2008 to 24th May 2011. Can some one please explain why I was given 3 days less e.g. not until 28th May 2011?

Also would it cause any issue at the time of ILR (5 years requirement)? I am just going to apply for my extension and want to know if I need to do something now with regards to this.

Thanks a lot

Regards
Azee

You should have been issued with full three years.. Seems to be an error. It can be corrected if you write to UKBA.

But shortage by 3 days is not going to cause any trouble in your ILR. As error is on your part either.

You can apply for ILR 28 days before you complete 5 years. Which means 3 days are not really going to make a lot of difference.
Goodluck.
