Greek Schengen Visa from UK Query

I am Indian citizen currently staying in the UK on a student Visa. I am planning to travel to Greece in July and have the following two queries in relation to the same. It would be really helpful if anyone who has info could reply because I am unable to get in touch with the Greek Embassy in London since their Via query number is always busy:

(a) If applying through the Greek embassy in the UK, do I need to return to the UK after my trip. Because in my case I am proceeding to India via Turkey and not returning to the UK. I ask this because the website says you need to show you have sufficient funds to return to the UK. Is it okay if I show i have sufficient funds to go to my home country?

(b) I am planning to go to India via Turkey. Indian citizens who have UK visas can get visa on arrival in Turkey. Hence I will not be applying for visa to Turkey before. Therefore, in the schengen form where it asks if you have visa for final destination, I will have to state 'NO'. Will this adversely affect my schengen Visa application?

(a) You do not have to return to the UK, you just have to leave Schegen Area beofre your visa expires

(b) Why would you say No, you should say yes since your final destination will be India and you are a citizen of India, the meaning of that answer would be whether you have permission for your final destination would be YES

Even if you are going turkey from Greece, you do not need a visa so you could say "YES" visa granted on arrival

i was in greece so i can tell you smth

you can write in schengen form that u ll get a visa on arrival to turkey, to go to turkey is very easy, by train is better, train ll take u to the heart of istanbul.

you can come back to uk without any problems ....for sure
