Bad credit a problem

If I have not so great credit in the US, while it affect my immigrating to the UK on a fiance visa? :?:

The financial test is that it needs to be shown that you will not need to claim certain Public Funds in the UK. Accordingly the financial position of your fiancée and her earnings are probably more important than your financial position in the US.
