Deportation of ex-partner?????

Post by uzee » Thu May 05, 2011 5:21 pm

Hi

My sister and her husband have fallen out and will be going for a divorce. The husband came from Pakistan few months ago.

Divorce procedures shall be started.

The intention is to send him back to Pakistan, his home country.

My question is how can we make sure that there is now way back for him, from Pakistan to the UK???

The UK Immigration System isn't a vehicle for family revenge when marriages break down.

If he qualifies to return he can return.

You also cannot send him back to Pakistan if he does not want to go, so stop planning that now.

Read this page on the UKBA website. It is up to UKBA to take action, if they decide to do so.

erm please dont make assumptions unless you have been through it and know how we feel.

It's not revenge. He wants to go back to his home country. We just want to make sure he doesn't have any negative/illegal intentions by coming back, like he did now.

Thanks for the link.

how can you make sure he doesn't have any negative/illegal intentions by coming back? If he wants to come back and qualifes to do so, he can. Once your sister has reported to the UKBA that the marriage has broken down it is out of her (and your) hands. You can't make sure there is 'no way back for him'.
