family visit- advice ASAP please

Hello, I am on general tier 1 visa. I would like to invite my in laws to visit. I want to know is there any particular amount which I need to show in the bank. what is the minimum income/pay I need for it?
I would be greatful for your help and advice.

The amount is in the ECO's head, ha! there is no fixed amount for a visit, you just need to able to support, maintain and accomodate them without recourse to public funds and they shouldn't be a burden on you and you have sufficient funds(depending upon the duration of visit).
