Tier2 ICT extension

Hi guys,
My employer has applied for Tier2 ICT extension on 01-04-2011. Still have not received my biometrics invitation, that said I was issued a biometrics card just 4 months ago for a TOC.
1) Is it possible that they may not need to take my biometrics again? OR The letter lost in post?
My immigration history: Entered UK on 31-12-2006
22-12-2006 to 22-12-2007 Work permit
22-10-2007 to 14-04-2009 Work permit extension
14-04-2009 to 05-04-2011 T2SW (ICT)
05-04-2011 to (extension applied)
Living in the uk continuously for all this time, same job, same employer.
2) If extension successful, would I be eligible for ILR in December this year?
