Hi i need some advice, i seperated from my husband who is egyptian last july he left me a week after he got his spouse visa and i wad 3 months pregnant instead of going back to his home country he went to live in italy and worked although i informed the UKBA we had seperated and they said it was up to them to revoke his visa, during our marriage he was violent and i applied for divorce as soon as we had been married a year he refused to give me his address and didnt contact me until i had my baby, then he sent txts threatening to take my baby from me and being a boy and my ex husband is muslim it was really scary to cut a long story short, he came to uk a few weeks ago using his spouse visa i had no idea he was coming and was worried that he would hurt me or my baby, he is with immigration in the detention centre and they are trying to revoke his visa he is refusing to go back to egypt and wants to appeal against this, i have phoned immigration where he is but they said that they cannot tell me anything due to data protection act i assume this is because we are seperated. I dont know what he is capable of and if he had a right to stay in uk.
The baby i have he hasnt seen he hasnt supported him or bought anything for him when i asked him to buy a cot he refused saying he couldnt afford to but then messaged me demanding to visit my son even though through choice he hasnt been to visit him and he is 3 months old now, i told him to go through lawyers as he cant be trusted on his own if he can hit me when i was pregnant he can hit my child i believe and saying he bought himself a new camera to take pictures,i gave upaskign him for anything and have looked after my son myself i just wanted some advice on whether he would be allowed to stay in uk? if so what grounds could he appeal against hes already tried lying to immigration that we are still together i havent seen him since last july and have no intention on getting back together with him.
i would apreciate any advice
many thanks
