Your chances will be positive only if you meet the requirements of the immigration category you are applying for / have applied for, and (in case of appeal) if you / your solicitor can prove to the judge that on the date of decision (of the refused application) you fulfilled all the immigration requirements as specified under the rules.
Every requirement is an important requirement - meant to be fulfilled - so "refused merely for two reasons" is not something minor that will magically disappear or be ignored. One reason is good enough to be refused!
Life isn't fair, but you can be!
