PLEASE HELP ME

Post by aliksa » Wed May 04, 2011 5:54 pm

Hello Good Day to Everyone

I Applied family visitor visa and got refused and the reason they said is that is that (You have applied for a family visit visa to enter the United Kingdom as you state you wish to visit your cousin. However in assessing your application a telephone interview was carried out by this office with your UK sponsor and she confirmed that your relationship is in fact that of second cousins.) she is my mother , Sister , Daughter so she said the same thing to Officer that Ali is my mother , Sister , Son so in that case she is my first cosin .

niece or first cousin; (NB: “first cousinâ€

Is the mother of your sponsor in UK a cousin / half sister of your mother?

If your mother and the mother of your cousin in UK are siblings from same parents, then the decision is wrong.

In such case, you can consider appealing.

You can apply for either, but if you wish to apply under the family visitor category, IMHO, you will need to provide documentary evidence to prove the relationship between your mother and your cousin'e mother .. else the application is likely to be refused for the same reason.

Write to the ECO/ECM. Submit an appeal. Include proof of family relationships.

Thanks for your replies one more question I will try to find the documents but if next time if I apply for general visitor visa will they raise the point that before you applied for family visitor now you are applying for general visitor visa.
