being illegal in schengen...now applying for EEA FP

hello everybody...

my story is like this , i was in greece for 3 years illegally..then i left back to my home country-morocco- after paying a fine of 600 euros to greek customs.

now im going to apply for eea family permit to join my lithuanian wife . we are in relationship for 7 years.... we got married 6 months ago here in morocco.

will my illegal stay in greece affect my eea fp application?

regarding to what i read... I don't think your illegal status in Greece will affect your eea family permit as long as you could prove that you marriage is not one of convenient. hope am right but John, Obie etc will enlighten you more. Best of luck mate.
