need help asap,,

hiya i need to send off for my ilr today or tomorrow i had read on this form and others that my husband is allowed to claim housing benefit as long as he wasnt getting any extra for me, but i just got off the phone with the immigration enquiry bureau, and was just told that as he is allowed to claim it my application now will be a doggy application even though he isnt recieving anything for me and i am only a lodger on our house tenancy agreement, please help me

even though the guy on the phone said i have a dodgy application since i live here? as well do you know what i should put in section 7 about it for my husband? thank you very much for your response-
