Process for applications by post

Folks,

I had seen below steps in a website steps that UKBA carries out once you submit your application via post.

After you have posted your application your form will follow the below processing:

The local payment processing centre. This is where the details/method of your payment are processed.
Your form is then forwarded to a Public Enquiry Office (often in Croydon) where an Immigration Case Worker takes charge of your form and begins to process it.
The Immigration Case worker checks through your form making sure all the relevant sections are complete and that you are eligible for biometric enrolment.
If you are eligible for biometric enrolment the Case Worker will send you a letter informing you that you must make an appointment as soon as possible.
In this appointment you will have your fingerprints and photograph taken these will later be stored in the chip in your Biometrics Card.
This information is then sent to your Case Worker who begins to assess that you have obtained the required points.
Once this has been done the Case Worker will make a decision regarding your application.
