Post by jadethedon » Tue May 10, 2011 1:41 pm

Hi All, I am a South African but i now travel on a British passport, everytime i go through immigration i am stopped asked "if i have ever been refused a visa " made to sit down and 20 to 40 minutes later given back my passport and let go. Is there any way i can get this to stop for this is annoying and humiliating,

This is UK border control you are referring to?

If you have a new passport, use e-gates, or just register for IRIS.

Have you ever been refused a visa when holding your South Afican passport?
This should not cause you problems with your British Passport but may be this is the reason?

why not write a complaint http://www.homeoffice.gov.uk/complaints/

You need to write to the Home Office and they will sort everything out
