quick schengen visa question

Just a quick question here...

Planning on going on a road trip through France and maybe just into Spain, with my wife and we have recently applied for a schengen visa from the French embassy for her. Will spend most of the time in France and maybe a few days in Spain. We were originally going via ferry or channel tunnel into a French port but I am looking at the possibility of the Hull-Zebrugge ferry....will there be a problem at the Belgian port if the visa has been issued by the French? I think I should be ok but just want a second opinion to reasssure me.
