Will my husband loose his visa?

My husband has just been granted a visa for two years to live and work in the UK. I am a UK national and he is Turkish. He wants to do some courses in Turkey so it means he will be spending alot of time away from the UK. I read somewhere that if he spends more than 6 months away then he will loose his visa. Is this true?

i dont think that would be the case

i think the 2 years is a probationary period during which the authorities will ascertain if your marriage is a long lasting legit marriage.
