British Passport for my child

Post by tariqusmanco » Mon May 16, 2011 10:12 am

Hi,
I'm a british citizen by decent resident in Pakistan. I want to apply for british passport for my child. I do not know if my child is elligible for british passport while staying in Pakistan.

Please help me and inform me if there is any complication.

Regards.

Where and when was your child born?
Are you the child's father or mother?
What is the status of child's other parent?

Have you ever lived in the UK for a continuous period of at least 3 years?

Unfortunately, I don't think that your son is currently entitled to British citizenship.

Yes. Apply about three months before traveling. Request effective date of visas to be the date of arrival.
