Need Help With Tier 4 Dependent Visa URGENT

Post by avaseer » Tue May 17, 2011 12:44 am

I have several questions regarding Student Dependent Visa...

Well i am an International student from Pakistan studying in UK studying BSc Technology & ECommerce (NQF Level 6) from BITE I Entered UK on 18th February 2011 and my course duration is 3 years my visa expires in the end of 2014.

I heard UKBA have changed the rules for student dependent visa only NQF level 7 or higher can apply for it. I am also sharing the link for reference

http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitec ... dent-visas

http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitec ... dent-visas

((Download the PDF file on the right side on this link))
Please tell is it implementing from 2012 or 2011?? i have also heard from some one that same rules are intact till July 2011???

I have following Documents Ready
1.Bank Statement (9 x £533 = £4,797) Approx 5k
2.College Letter (Acceptance and CAS Letter)
3.Dependent Letter from College
4.Passport
5.Marriage Certificate (Already Translated into English)
6.Tenancy Agreement

My second question is that is it important to keep the funds in my account or is it possible that my wife shows her personal bank statement for same amount which is in my home country Pakistan??? and can my father in law sponsor my spouse????

My third question is beside all these documents is there any thing else i need to take care of and how much time it would take to get the visa.

My fourth and last question is i usually talk to her over the phone on Skype because its cheap and easy I don't email normally but its possible for me and her to communicate through email as my wife is able to read write and understand English and she is also familiar with the internet as well . So is it important to show communication over the email or any other source of communication??? I have every evidence like Wedding Photos, Wedding rubbish etc What else do i require????

If possible please include the link for all these details from some other sources beside UKBA website e.g. forums and include the link for updated visa form for dependent.

I need urgent help and prayers from all members because if it is closing in July i have very less time to complete and compile all these documents.

Its better to have money in you account, its good to have in her account, its perfect to show both accounts. Remember if the wife will show her bank statement she has to show maintenance funds for herself only not for you therefore the amount will be far less.

If the documents are in good shape, less than two week she will get her passport back with visa.

It’s sensible to show source of communication, skype is the major source of communication than phone therefore I would say show them broadband and phone line bill and do mention in covering letter you use internet as you main source to keep in touch especially because of file sharing and cam facilities.

There are no requirements of accommodation for point based dependent yet it always makes sense to add-up as much things as you can.

Main Applicant:
1. Visa form
2. Covering letter of main applicant (Husband)
3. Main applicant (Husband) passport, visa copies and biometric residence permit (formerly known as an identity card for foreign nationals). All attested by United Kingdom notary public by a solicitor.
4. Main applicant (Husband) ID card copy
5. Visa letter of main applicant (Husband) College for Tier 4 dependent visa including fee payment status.
6. Main applicant (Husband) Council tax bills as a Proof of accommodation.
7. Flat Assessment certificate by local Council for over crowding & facilities
8. Main applicant (Husband) Tenancy Agreement
9. No objection letter from main applicant (Husband) landlord
10. Main applicant (Husband) bank Statements
11. Main applicant (Husband) electricity bill
12. Main applicant (Husband) Phone & broadband or pre paid telecom service bill and call history to demonstrate the prove of communication
