Application form questions (old BRP card / entry clearance)

Hi all,
I’m currently on a post-study work visa and about to apply for a Tier 2 sponsor visa and have two questions relating to the application form.

The first is question C9 on the form which asks has the “applicant been issued with a Biometric Residence Permit with a previous application for leave?â€
