uk visa

have applied for uk family visit visa on 14th april at mumbai north and after one month status still shows as under process.why the delay?is anyone else from mumbai in a similar position.if anyone submitted their application and received their visa please share on dates of application and receipt.Im getting really impatient .

It took 1 week when my parents visited me last year.
